About Doug...

Before becoming a REALTOR...

Doug Belcher was born in Powell River and grew up in Nanaimo, British Columbia. He received his associate in Commerce at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo in 1983. His family has been residing in Nanaimo since 1907. Doug enjoys golfing, fishing and cooking.

As a former hotelier, he knows what service is all about. Delivering five diamond service is his promise. He started out working in hotels in BC; including Duncan and Campbell River and then worked with Hyatt Hotels in Vancouver. He was with Hyatt for 13 years, opening and renovating properties in Vancouver, Hawaii and California. He also worked in the Caribbean as a Food and Beverage Director.

In Doug's career, he have served the Queen, Heads of State, screen legends and rock stars so he is not easily intimidated in a negotiation.
